Rotorua Luge – Skyline New Zealand
I absolutely LOVE luging … the speed, the adrenalin, trying to reach the end WITHOUT using brakes… and it’s even better when you race with friends.
BUT…
What do you do when your friend almost falls down the side of the mountain?
You laugh and laugh …
and then you laugh some more!
That’s what friends are for!
TIP 1: NEVER try to ride a luge with ONE hand! Seriously… you can’t do it!
TIP 2: AVOID luging with Rob W.

Some Chilean friends of mine were visiting New Zealand so the Rotorua Luge was of course on our travel TO DO list. It was impressive how my mate ended up on two wheels but kept going! Especially SO CLOSE to the edge (just so you know, you can’t really see it but there is quite a drop there down the side of the mountain.)
I just noticed that have some NEW tracks at Skyline Rotorua … I think I might just have to go and try them out.
This is one of the MANY things you can do in Rotorua, New Zealand.
It is impressive how he got up on two wheels … and kept going!
